As on pictures. Clean, no issues car. (But many services done since I got it as the 3rd owner). 3.0L V6 Saab 9-5 cars were potential problem vehicles (leaky engine oil cooler inside of the engine) and ruined the reputation of these great cars. This 2.3L TURBO L4 is not one of these. (THE ENGINE OIL WAS CHANGED on time, every time. This one was cared for and has no issues and no oil consumption nor oil sludge!) This engine has special oil pan modification to avoid oil sludge problems. VERY RARE! To install this custom modification to the oil pan, my mechanic had to remove and then to reinstall part of the subframe under the engine! This mod allows for easy inspection and easy cleaning of oil pan screen sumpump with just old toothbrush every few oil changes. This procedure does not have to be done. IT CAN BE DONE v. easily. Good to be done every few years if one want's 300+k miles from a 4 cyl. 2.3 Turbo engine. Or even way more. Reason for selling: ...for just 2 of us (adults near retirement age) we have 4 cars and that's two too many. So, both Saab's (9-5) have to go as the payments for brand new Subaru show up in the mailbox every month. (Until recently always had Saabs which are staring to be classics which is rare in 4-5 doors type of cars). This one gave us many years of no problem driving. A VERY SAFE, STURDY VEHICLE! Synth. engine oil ALWAYS changed every 3k mi. New outer tie rod ends (incl. wheel alignments and boots). Trans oil changed every 15k. (Will inl. a set of proper japaneese trans oil for the nxt change - much better than GM/Saab and Toyota T-IV). This Saab's transmission is Assin - Toyota made). New rotors, new brakes. Recent new trans and engine bushings (last year). Ignition cassette and platinium plugs (last year). These used to be v. expensive, now the new aftermarket casette is just $70-80. New transmission shifter bushing (a common problem in all auto transmission Saabs) - this will be easily seen as you come to test drive it or check it out. DOT4 synthetic brake fluid flush done last year. Brake fluid is still pretty clean and not a yellow soup as in most used vehicles more than several years old. Old brake fluid as prone to absorbing moisture and that will result in overheating and ruining ABS pump! (Brake fluid NEEDS TO BE CHANGED EVERY FEW YEARS IN EVERY CAR OR ELSE! FEW HAVE IT DONE.) 17" tires are with less than 5k miles and it shows. New muffler. New battery. MANY other services done incl. special oil pan mod. to be seen when you come to test drive this car. Current inspection and registration.Some scratches on the paint here and there to be seen up on upclose buyer inspection. I have an original GM/Saab dealership scanner, so using this special tool, this veh. can be inspected 'from the inside' like almost no other and the buyer is welcome to it. Pls ask questions BEFORE bidding. We can e-mail more pictures.2 sets of keys, books etc. Pictures were taken today at Westfield, NJ local park, by the end of the day, so the sun and light was perfect on these trees over the car. Sorry, can't sell you the park ;-) ... Will list the other 9-5 Saab soon (2004, gray, sedan). It has more miles and will be much cheaper, but just as reliable and good looking. Q: Hi, beautiful car. Does this have the ventilated seats and the visibility package? Do all of the heated seats and mirrors work? Has it been smoked in? Any oil leaks on the head gasket near the timing cover? Sorry, don't know what 'visibility package is' and I had three 9-5's and the friend (a FedEx mechanic) had 4. No vented seats, have not seen these in 9-5's. Everything works, mirrors, memory seats setting, heated seats etc. No smoked and no pets car. Sorry, can't post more pictures as Ebay wants money for even one more picture. With all due respect, best to come by and see it in person, test drive it etc. Just like when you want a buy a car, especially 12 years old for few thousands. Can't really do it remotely even in XXI Century with all the technology we have. Need to touch it, sniff it, like it and just drive it, eithetr test drive it or drive it away.
