Please read the whole description if you plan to bid - lets not waste each others time. This is being relisted because the winner of the auction drove 3 1/2 hours and didn't know it was an automatic. Didn't know it had 209,000 miles - Please read it before bidding. use as a donor to convert your F-250 or F-350 to diesel. This truck is 2wd but has a 4x4 transmission - just take the transmission brake off & bolt your transfer case on. Everything else is a direct swap. This is a no reserve auction - high bidder wins. Please don't bid if you have no intention of following through. I bought this truck from a county in Georgia and it is extremely rust free - look closely at the photos of the frame and the underside. I bought it to install a dump body, but later came across a newer body style truck that I liked better and put the dump body on it instead. I have kept this for a couple of years thinking I would do something with it, but probably never will, so it's time to let it go. I have never put a plate on it and driven it, so it has never seen road salt. The truck starts runs and drives, but has a couple problems. I think the starter relay is going bad because sometimes it will just click when you turn the key - it will do that a few times, then it will crank and start. Something electrical. When it starts, the check engine light comes on & it will run for about a minute, then stall out. It starts right back up & when it does - no more check engine light and it will run fine. I don't know what the problem is and I really don't care - you are buying it as is. Bring a trailer - I wouldn't trust it 100%. The cab to axle is 84". GVWR is 15,000 lbs. The transmission shifts perfect and the brakes work great. the interior is clean, but the bezel around the dash is cracked/broken. Also the dash pad is cracking. The seat does not have any major tears. It is an XL, so it has manual windows and manual locks. It does have air conditioning. I put the xlt chrome grill and headlight bezels on it to jazz it up & also put the wheel simulators on it. The tires hold air, but are old and i'm sure will eventually need to be replaced. I will give you a spare tire & wheel. Batteries do NOT come with the truck - I had to put batteries from my other truck in it, to start it. Once we load it up on your trailer - i'm removing my batteries. If you use the buy it now, then I will leave the batteries in - they are Napa & only a year old. There are some kind of controllers that were left on the truck when I bought it - i'm guessing they must have had emergency lighting on the truck. Also on the firewall, there is some kind of controller mounted, which i believe will idle the engine up. I don't know much about it - they were on the truck when I bought it, so I just left them in place. I have a clear title. Local pickup only. If you are having a shipper pick it up & he has a semi truck - he can park there & I will bring the truck to him.
