Vehicle Detail
Carbon Fiber Edition, #101 of 250 produced. Supersonic Blue. $99,925 MSRP. Car is loaded with every option. 6 speed manual. Everything works like new. Everything is perfect, with the exception of a few blemishes in the paint, which I have documented. This car will need nothing for many years, except oil changes of course. Engine and cabin filters, coolant and clutch and brake fluids replaced at 23,000 Miles, Front brake pads replaced at 26,000 Miles, Tires replaced at 27,000 Miles. Brand new rear pads in the box are included (bought pads as a set to save money but rears probably will not need changing until 60,000+ miles). Lifetime XM Radio is included. ONE NOTE: Front Splitter is carbon fiber but NOT stock -- a few years ago, i misjudged curb height while parking and cracked the OEM splitter. I was thinking about changing the rockers to the "carbon fiber" look, but rockers remain gloss black and splitter is not. 1. I have been the only driver of this car since new. I leased it then bought it. 2. I have not had an insurance claim for 34 years. 3. When new in CA, i drove the car appx 7000 miles a year for 1st 3 years, now in CO last few years i have driven less than 2,000 miles a year, as i work out of my home now, and i am a guide dog raiser and guide dogs do not like Corvettes. I have 6 cars now and only a 3 car garage. Scraping ice and snow off the other 3 cars is tiresome, so I am selling the 2 cars that I drive the least. 4. 18 months ago, my 16 yr old son started driving, so my rates doubled with full coverage, so i went to liability only on all cars. 6 months ago, my 16 yr old daughter started driving, so my rates increased again. 3 months ago, my 18 yr old son crashed one of my cars, causing my rates to double again, as my insurance paid for the other car and my son now has 2 pts on his record. Both of my kids will be going to college, and I will be paying for it. So while this has been my favorite car ever and i thought i would die with it, the cost per mile driving it only 1500 miles a year with liability only insurance, outweighs the joy of driving it. My last car i sold was on Ebay, a 1967 Olds 442 convertible for $32,000. A gentleman flew in from Seattle and I picked him up at airport, he drove the car for 1 hour and did his own inspection, then he drove it back to Seattle. With this car, I will pickup the buyer at the Denver airport, they can drive it for 1 or 2 hours (after signing a document stating they understand the car has liability insurance only, so if they crash it, they will pay for all damages they caused), then the buyer can drive it home or have it transported home. Or if you paypal $150, I will take this car to any inspector you choose within 1 hour drive (Denver, Cheyenne, etc) and wait for 1 hour while your inspector drives, tests, and inspects every component. If any issue is found, i will refund your $150.
