I have had the pleasure of being the caretaker of this original British racing green Austin Healey for several years now. Our family has enjoyed several Watkins Glen Vintage road rallies, however a Healey 100 has just entered the stable and I have to make a hard decision. This Healey is an older restoration. The frame and body are in good condition that were protected by undercoating sometime in the past. The floor does have some rust but by no means structural. The veneer wood dash is peeling. During my care I completed the following: installed harden valve seats, new intake and SU gaskets, new head gasket, winter of 2017 I just changed the clutch, installed a new overdrive accumulator piston, new water pump, powder coated fan blades, ,restored the heater box under dash, and reupholstered the center console. The motor has a rear oil seal kit installed that works well.. The old pan gasket should be changed at some point to further minimize oil drips.
