Selling my 1984 BMW R100CS "Last Edition". I am the 3rd owner to my knowledge, previous owner had the bike since the late 80's and was purchased from a BMW dealer in Dallas who was a friend. I do not have the original dealer buyer package of paper work with the "Last Edition" paper as the original owner lost it. His garage was a mess, so I can only imagine his paper work situation. Bike comes with what you see in the photos. Has both seat options from the dealer. Both are in excellent shape. Bags have a little bit of discoloration, but all latches work etc. 22 thousand on the odometer and as you probably already know... that's just the start of these bikes. I have done the following to the bike since purchasing it. - New Metzler Tires and Tubes- Rebuilt Master Cylinder - Rebuilt Calipers- New Stainless Braided Brake Lines- New Upgraded DIOD Board w/ Solid Mounts- New Battery- Rebuilt Carbs- Cleaned Tank- Full Tune Up- New Emblems on the tank and bench seat. Old ones were yellowed like on the solo seat in some of the photos. Probably a few other odd end things I am leaving out. The bike had sat for 10+ years in a garage, before I purchased it. Then it moved straight to my garage. I did all of the above and it's first ride back on the road (after a couple obvious test rides) was from Nashville to Barber last year. About 7 hours straight of back roads riding and it performed perfectly. Not a single issue since owning it for a little over a year. The side covers have been re-painted. They're notorious in the past for coming off on the road due to the shotty clip and bungie system BMW manufactured these bikes with. Other than that, paint is original and in excellent shape, minus a few minor flaws clearly detailed in the photos. Front sport fairing is in great condition, no cracks in the fiberglass and windshield has very little scratching and wear. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
