Thank You for looking at our eBay posting. . . what you are looking at was what I was HOPING was an easy fix and a HUGE money maker . . . .EVERY one of these older Buicks and Oldsmobiles I find I can price at $3,999 and sell them for $3,500 and they sell FAST, everyone loves them. . .VERY solid. . VERY reliable . . . . I bought this EXCELLENT CONDITION 1998 Buick LeSabre Custom with just 62,369 ORIGINAL MILES at a donation / charity auction . .it was in the INOP area (inoperable / non running) area . . . .quite often these cars need maybe a brake line. . .a starter . . .maybe a fuel pump. . . .as a policy the charity will not invest a CENT into any of these cars . . . . . just a quick story . .about a year ago there was a nice 1992 Jaguar XJ6 that was donated from an estate with NO KEY. . .it had low mileage (76k) . . . .THE CHARITY WOULD NOT PAY TO HAVE A KEY MADE. . . . .so of course the car sold for just a few hundred dollars. . . .I ended up buying it. . .I had a key cut and threw in a new battery and it FIRED RIGHT UP. . . . . . NO issues . . . THE POINT OF THAT STORY IS THAT IT IS COMMON TO HAVE A CAR IN THE INOP AREA DUE TO A MINOR ISSUE, you would be AMAZED at some of the cars that get donated . . . . . THAT is what I was HOPING for with this beautiful Buick LeSabre, according to the CarFax this car spent its ENTIRE life in Southern California literally from the day it was bought till about a year ago when it came to Connecticut (also the CarFax is PERFECT No Issues NO worries) the body is absolutely beautiful absolutely no rust just may be a few little dings and scrapes that you would expect from a 20-year-old car it has all the power and luxury features that a Buick LeSabre Custom would come with. I know all the windows, seats and radio all work. it has the 3800 V6 engine, AC / Psteering / Pbrakes / PLocks /Pseats / Tilt / Cruise . . .all the options It has a like BRAND NEW new set of tires on it. beautiful factory alloy wheels. we have a policy that if we cannot fix an INOP car for between $200 and $400 we do not pursue it . . . the symptom of the car was when you would get in it and turn the key it felt like the starter was not engaging so I figured OK it must be a starter . . .so we had it brought to my techs shop he put in a new starter . . .it spun right over but didn't run nice and smooth . . . upon checking the oil it appears there is that sludgy oil/coolant mixture he indicated that the intake manifold gasket (whatever that is) is a very common failure point on these cars so I was just about to throw in the towel when he suggested “why don’t you put it on eBay the way it is ! . . . the car is in such nice condition somebody who is handy might want it to fix it". . . .it’s one of those "all labor" jobs the gasket itself costs very little, it’s all labor" . . . . he indicated the underside of the car was spotless (like the day it left the factory) and said it would be such a shame for the car to go to scrap so we are offering it on eBay at no reserve with just a $499 starting price which to be VERY honest you is about HALF of what I have into it. as of right now before eBay and applicable fees. all said and done we will have WELL over $1,000 into it . . . you are getting an amazing car with LOADS of potential for an amazing price . .I dislike the expression "our loss is your gain". . but ITS TRUE ! there is someone on eBay selling a set of 1998 Buick LeSabre alloy wheels for what im asking FOR THE WHOLE CAR !!!!! this 1998 Buick LeSabre is 100% original and clearly was very well cared for and is sold with a clean / clear Connecticut title & bill of sale, the car is located in Norwalk, Connecticut. 06851 . . .this vehicle must be paid for within 48 HOURS OF AUCTION END we will assist with shipping, we have some VERY reasonable shippers - upon receipt of payment, we will overnight the bill of sale and paperwork to you within 48 hours. we have access to some VERY reasonable shippers we can handle booking and meeting the shipper VIN NUMBER IS 1G4HP52K4WH404774 please ask your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, dog, cat, psychic . . . for permission AND any financial issues resolved BEFORE you bid.
