Up for sale is a 1971 Porsche 914 re-sprayed in its original Irish Green. Overall the car is in fair condition, it runs, drives and stops. Everything electrical works including the original Sapphire radio. Interior is in very good condition, carpets, dash and seats. Original steering wheel is a little shabby, but a real nice replacement goes with the car. The car passed Delaware state inspection. The fuel injection was replaced with what I believe is a Weber progressive 2-barrel carburator. Body has some rust bubbles in several locations, but not broken thru the paint. There is also rust near the corner of the door near the door handles and a couple of small welded patches at corners of windshield and down toward the nose of the car near one headlight (shown in pictures). Also some welded patches on edges of floors underneath the car. Odometer does not work, so true mileage unknown. Shift linkage bushings should be replaced, since shifting is a little vague, the bushings will be included with the purchase. E-brake not working. Car is presentable and a great candidate to drive as you restore. Porsche is being offered with NO RESERVE. Car is also being sold “as is.” On Sep-03-18 at 05:28:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction: the statement that it passed DE state inspection was carried over from a previous listing. It has not been inspected, however, I will am taking it for inspection tomorrow. Just wanted to clarify.
