Vehicle Detail
We are auctioning off a 2003 Chevy Express G3500 Van with 180,000+ miles on it. The van was in working order when removed from service in August, 2018. The van is a 15 passenger model, however the rear two seats are missing. Non-smoking with a clear title. The van is being sold as-is, no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied. With that said, when the van was removed from service the engine ran fine, the tires were approximately two years old, the A/C was cold, the oil pressure gauge only worked occasionally (we always ignored it), the front suspension seemed loose, the front brake rotors seemed warped occasionally especially on downhill slopes, the paint was missing in some places, and the roof upholstery was sagging near the rear view mirror. Why are we selling the van? A newer van was donated to the organization, so we are auctioning off the old one. Please note, a preview of vehicle is available but test drives are not and the doors will be locked during the preview. No appointment is needed to preview the vehicle. The vehicle is located in the parking lot at 104 United Drive, Collinsville, IL 62234. The vehicle is being auctioned as pictured. No returns, no refunds, and no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied. The vehicle must be paid for and picked up within seven (7) days of auction’s end at Metro East Park and Recreation District, 104 United Drive, Collinsville, IL 62234. The vehicle must be picked up during a scheduled appointment between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday. The vehicle must be picked up NO LATER THAN 7 days after the auction closes. If the vehicle is not picked up within 7 days, the buyer will forfeit their payment for said vehicle as liquidated damages. The Metro East Park and Recreation District reserves the right thereafter to re-auction or scrap the item(s), for failure to comply with pick up procedures as stated. The item must be picked up in person.
