Here we have a one owner California car that has spent it's life here in the dry Central Valley near Fresno. The owner recently passed away and the tags show June, 2018 on the original black plates so there may be some penalties (less than $200). It's pretty much unrestored with the exception of a beautiful new cloth top and a few new parts under the hood. The lights and signals work good but the power top does not (can be put up and down by hand). The family said the miles were original at 39,265 but we think it's gone over. Not quite sure if the interior is original but it looks great. It's been repainted and shows signs of lousy bodywork, not the best paint job. The chrome is all original and tired but the stainless trim looks good. The best part about this car is that it runs and drives great and the body looks to be almost rust free. We've put about 20 miles on it just to check it out and it drove very well. It comes with the old style California "Pink" slip and original owners manuals. It's been decided to start this auction off at a very good price with no reserve so it will definitely sell. Selling as-is so please ask any questions before you bid. Thanks and good luck! *I've had a few questions about the paint and body with regard to the condition. I'm always critical when listing for someone else so when the buyer receives the car they are always happy. I say the bodywork is "lousy" mainly because of the deck lid and the driver door (which may have been replaced). Overall it's actually pretty straight but I like to have full disclosure. They paint was probably nice at some point and could be polished out to look better but as it is it's old and kinda dull. Thanks!
