Vehicle Detail
2006 BMW M3 Coupe (E46) $17,000 or best offer This is a rare 6-speed manual transmission in Imola Red. This M3 was made in 2006, the last year this classic E46 BMW was completely designed and hand-built in Germany. This one is mostly stock, with 118,000 miles and the body and engine are both in great shape. If you have ever driven a BMW 3-series and thought the pickup and handling were good, you need to try a ride in the M3! Virtually every component in this vehicle is an upgrade to the 328, including the 3.2L straight 6-cylinder engine, which has 333 hp and can happily rev up to 8000 rpm without a problem. The acceleration is very smooth, and the chassis is nearly perfectly balanced with a 50-50 weight distribution. I drove this vehicle as a daily driver for several years, but it would be equally at home on the track. This M3 has the following standard equipment and options: - 19-inch diameter staggered alloy wheels (8.5” wide in front, 9.5” wide in rear) - Black leather multi-adjustable front seats and alacantra dash - Excellent factory sound system with AM/FM, CD player - Moon roof and rear spoiler- Bright Xenon HID headlamp - Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone - 4 pipe stainless steel exhaust - Stiffer Bilstein rear shocks, with no sub-frame problems (possible in 2003 and earlier models) - Cross-drilled heat-treated brake rotors - Seats 5, with 60/40 fold-down rear seat - Advanced traction control and anti-lock brakesThis was originally a $60,000+ car, many body parts are aluminum to save weight, no trace of rust. Has current PA inspection and clean title, may need new tires to pass next inspection but brakes still have plenty of thickness. I recently completed a BMW synthetic oil-change as well as a recall service which replaced the front driver and passenger (Takata) airbags.Read reviews of this car online, a few years ago Car & Driver magazine said it was in their top 10 cars of all time.https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/pulls-like-a-demon-page-3 https://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/m3/15214/should-you-buy-an-e46-bmw-m3jhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWAmMUjq1K4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2hlkFqLS3EPrefer a local pickup, and will need a bank cashier’s check for payment. Car is in Chester Springs, Chester County, PA just west of Philly. If you want to test drive, you will need to know how to drive a manual transmission. :)
