Hard to find 80s classic bike, these rarely come up for saleSelling my resto-mod 84 Ascot. This is a VT500FT, so V-twin 500cc Flat Track street bike from Honda only imported in 83-84 making them pretty rare . These bikes were produced for the flat track and now they are retro-cool again. Sweet lightweight nimble handling bike to ride. 6 speed overdrive transmission, Only 5900 documented original miles, Rebuilt Carburetors, 20 Miles on new tires, new battery, nice Euro handlebars, New matching chocolate seat and grips , new mirrors, turn signals 7" round headlamp... Its a handsome steed... Please note, I've added the #84 decals to the side covers recently and not all the photos show that, the bike NOW has the #84 decals on both side covers. Runs and rides nicely, everything works as it should.. I love riding this bike it's a hoot! Would be a perfect intermediate bike. I have all the OEM parts if you wish to put them back on. Clean and clear PA title in MY name. The last few pics in this listing are for other Ascots that have been modified.This is a no BS auction, the starting bid is $1500, no other reserve or buy it now rubbish ebay charges more $$ for.
