Vehicle Detail
Here we go again. P1979 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ. Last year of 301 4BBL V8 engine. Triple black with power moonroof. All original with Pontiac wire wheels in excellent condition. Viscount leather Strato Bucket seats with console shifter. AC blows cold. PW, PDL, INT. Wiper, Cruise. AM/FM, tilt, Gauge Package with tach. All glass excellent condition with no scratches. Previous owner removed hood, trunk, doors, moonroof and fenders to paint in Deltron DBC Base Clear. Very high quality paint finish. He also replaced the moonroof seals with NOS set. It seals well with no leaks and functions like new. The car drives very smoothly and quite sporty with the SJ package. The car currently has 1980 Grand Prix taillight lenses but I am including the original 1979 lenses and bezels in excellent condition. I collect Pontiacs, had these and prefer the GP emblem on the taillight. Spare tire has never been down. I am selling because I own a large car collection and have only driven this Grand Prix a few times in two years. There are a few items that need attention to complete car. Front seats are serviceable but should be recovered. I am including a large full hide of the correct black leather I purchased from SMS Auto Fabrics in Canby OR. Something I never got around to. I am also including an NOS power antenna as it needs to be replaced. Driver's power seat motor needs service. These cars are becoming very rare and it needs to find a good home. Reasonable Reserve. Vehicle is for sale locally and owner reserves right to take down listing if reserve has not been met. Serious Bidders Only Please!
