This is a 2005 BMW F650CS single cylinder road bike. It is in excellent condition, never dropped, and has less than 6000 miles. I purchased it so I could offer a friend the opportunity to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway with me on a bike easy to get along with. Sadly, it was not to be, so it is for sale. I have only ridden it sporadically, as I have other bikes that fit me better. This one has a low seat height, which my old knees can't abide for long. It runs very well. It is counterbalanced and doesn't vibrate as much as the typical big single. It is quite happy at freeway speeds, but it is no speed demon. It is light and nimble, and it handles quite well, being flickable but also stable. It is accessible for the novice, but can keep an expert happy in the curves. The seat pad and glove bag on the rear do not come with, but I do have a hard top box for the rear rack and another windshield. It is currently located at a shop in Galax VA, whereas I live outside Sparta, NC. It can be viewed in Galax and picked up in either location, and I might be able to meet nearby.
