Vin 97H*234149*EG The truck on offer here is this excellent 1949 Ford F1 pick up. The truck is an excellent driver, is well sorted and drives as well as it looks. This truck is very original and in bright Red, makes a great vintage statement wherever it goes. It has been sympathetically maintained... and had restorative work as needed over its lifetime. Paint, interior work and all mechanical systems have been tended to and well sorted. Powered by its original type 226 CID Ford inline Flathead 6-cylinder drivetrain; it starts “on the button”, and makes good power and torque. The brakes have been taken care of the truck stops with authority. The paint is good (7/10) with good shine and depth. The interior was clearly restored in brown vinyl. The headliner is excellent and the car has heat and its original correct type radio. The manual transmission shifts well and the clutch works as designed. The underside and chassis are in good original condition; solid with no issues. The truck was converted from 6 volts to 12 volts for added reliability.
