1962 long bed, small back window Unibody for sale. 460 with headers, C-6 transmission with B&M shift kit, Lokar shifter, digital gauges, disc front brakes, and Toyota power steering box. Here's the story: I've was working on this truck for way too long. In June of 2014, I had a stroke and seizure and spent a week on life support. After I was released from the hospital and had to learn all the things that I used to take for granted and not even think about doing. Things like the necessities to live and to get around. Since my episode, I have not touched the truck and it's sitting next to my house, protected from the weather in my temporary garage. I have tried to do some more things to it, but have no interest in the truck anymore and would like to sell it. I've disassembled this truck to the frame and reassembled it. The truck is painted it with a color that has some red pearl mixed with it and a variety of colors to make it up. I replaced all the body mounts and suspension bushings. Cleaned & painted the frame. Installed tilt steering column. The truck had an electrical fire before I got it, so I ran new wiring for everything from the headlights to the LED tail lights. Instead of buying the conversion kits, I pieced the front disc brake system together and I have tested the brakes and they seem to work as they should, but have not tested at a high speed stop. The steering will need tweaked and more testing done. The truck needs exhaust from the headers back. The tailgate needs to be painted to match the truck. The truck is not perfect nor is it a show truck. The title is clear and would be a nice truck for the right person. Shipping up to the buyer to arrange. Anyway, I don't really want to sell it, but I don't want it to continue sitting and no progress made. I think it would make someone a nice project. Email me with any questions.
