1972 Monte Carlo loaded with factory options & matching numbers drive train. Car's equipped with a 400 CI engine (Build sheet says 400 CI, a lot of parts manuals refer to it as a 402CI) The engine was rebuilt several years ago & was dyno'd pushing 367Hp with 405 Ft lbs of torque. The engine is connected to the original Turbo Hydra-matic 400 Transmission and 12 bolt Posi Track rear end. Additional factory options are, air conditioning (all there but currently not working, low on freon), power windows ( both front motors are brand new, the rear motors were cleaned & new grease installed ), factory power door locks (now connected to keyless entry & lock), tilt steering wheel, bucket seats (original covering, no splits or tears), floor console, remote drivers mirror, front bumper gaurds, special instrumentation,(factory tach, gauges, clock even works) reveal molding, 12 bolt posi trac rear end, under hood & trunk lighting, rally wheels, AM/FM stereo ( currently acting up, been told that since cars has a HEI ignition system it's causing a RF interference) I have plenty of receipts for repairs or improvements done in the last year including 4 new tires , new front brakes & rotors, new upper & lower control arms, new dash cluster,(clock, tach, speedometer, gas gauge, temp. gauge) all new front bushings & ball joints. New hood hinges & springs. New belts, hoses, anti freeze, plugs, wires, distributor, new door weather stripping, new horn relay, new window relay, new battery, new alternator, new window felt weather stripping, new driver side door hinge, new front inner wheel well housing, new tie rods, new sway bar, new idler arm, new front shocks, new rear air shocks, And lots of additions smaller items. I also have many of the original items that were replaced if you'd like to have them. In case your not aware, This is a special car! It's very hard to find a factory equipped Monte Carlo like this. Consider these numbers. In 1972, there were 180,819 Monte Carlos produced. Of those only 9,960 had 402 engines. Of those 9,960 cars, even less had factory air or power windows, power door locks, tilt steering wheel. Then ask yourself, out of those 9,960 cars, how many lasted 46 years? SPECIAL NOTES!!! Because the state of CT. doesn't issue titles on cars this old, the car will come with a bill of sale. Also, the Car's sold as is NO WARRANTY.
