I bought this car late September in 2006 from a seller in Pennsylvania as a well maintained 6 cylinder daily driver. In 2007 I replaced the in-line 6 with a 1970 V8 302. This new engine was completely rebuilt by Scotty’s engines of Ottawa before installation, including new intake manifold, carb, and headers. This car now has the FMX transmission as well. Also at that time I replaced the front spindles and added a disk brake kit to the front end. The car looks great and I receive compliments every time I’m out. The car always starts easily and runs very well, just purrs. The documented mileage when I bought the car was 65,750 and the odometer is now at 73,456. That’s an average of 700 miles a year since I’ve owned it so I consider the engine to still be very young. The power top works fine and the rear window is intact with no tears or holes. Floor panels were replaced just before I purchased the car by the previous owner. The car is located about 35 minute drive north of the US border at Ogdensburg, NY.Here are the issues of concern;There are some minor rust spots in a few areas on the car, the worst of which is on the trunk lid and can be seen in the pics. I have a brand new trunk lid still in the box that is included with the sale of the car. The bumpers show some rust but I have 2 brand new bumpers in the box, included. The inside door panels are tired looking but I am including new ones. Other new parts include new door handles, new lock set, “MUSTANG” lettering for the trunk, air conditioning unit (that may or may not work. Never tried) and other bits and pieces that can be seen in the pics. Car cover was used every winter even though the car was stored inside and it is included as well.US buyers – Since the car is American made it can be imported duty free.
