1974 Honda CB750 motorcycle Honda CB750 motorcycle – manufactured in June 1974 – Metallic Blue -- 29,784.7 miles, located near Frederick, Maryland. Comes with a clear Maryland title -- bike is currently registered, insured and on the road. Payment to be made as follows: Cash, cashier’s check or money order Bought this bike in 1994 and immediately purchased an entire NOS entire exhaust system to replace the aftermarket pipes it came with. Also bought a NOS gas tank and NOS seat. So there is no rust in the tank (see photo) and no rips or tears on the seat. The original gauges were faded & scruffy looking so NOS gauges were acquired and installed. However, for mileage verification purposes, the original speedometer and tachometer are included in this sale (see photo). The kickstarter, clutch cover, front turn signal housings and points cover have all been re-chromed. Tool kit and original owner’s manual are stored in different compartments under the seat. At separate times, both the front and rear wheel rims were replaced and stainless spokes were fitted to the front rim. Also the stock points & condenser setup were ditched in favor of a Boyer electronic ignition system – much better & more reliable. Bike starts easily & runs and idles nicely. Note: left side cover has been repaired. Repaired crack not visible, except up very close. Note: 1974 was the last year that Honda motorcycles sold in the United States had a headlight on/off switch. From 1975 onwards, the headlights of all Honda street bikes came on as soon as the ignition key was turned – this of course makes it harder to start a motorcycle in cold weather. Bike has had a recent oil and filter change (35 miles ago) – at the same time, valve clearances and cam chain tension were checked and adjusted. Rear tire was replaced last year. Since owning this bike, it has never been dropped. Bike is in very nice condition -- it has always been garage kept and never ridden in the rain.
