A rare unbutchered 1967 Kaiser cj5 , I just purchased this on eBay and by the time it got here from Reno to Portland plans have changed. This Jeep was restored by a Jeep guy in Reno who owned the Jeep amc dealership and had quite a few restored cj’s and military Jeeps. This Jeep sat in his showroom roped off for around 5 yrs. than with his passing 5 or so yrs ago his family have been selling off the Jeeps with this one being the last one. I’ve had about a dozen or Jeeps, 2As, 3bs, and a number of pre amc Jeeps. The owner had not driven this very much and the family members used it for drives to the store or park etc.. upon receiving it 2 weeks ago I thought it was running a little rough , so I had the carb and fuel system gone through. Made a huge difference and pretty snappy, with theOD it would be a daily driver, well , that was my purpose for buying it. Everything works, has the rare factory Jeep radio but hard to track wire to it for juice. I’ve only driven it around the neighbor hood a few times and just tinkering here and there in the short time buying it. Will be a very nice rig with a little tweaking here and there due to none use.
