2001 Honda VFR800fi Interceptor, the best of the best! 2001 was the last year for the preferred and highly desirable gear driven cam drive. Fuel injection, linked brake system (LBS), single sided swingarm. All of the goodies but without the extra weight of the later VTEC and 1200cc models. This bike is #32 of the final three year production run of the series, which add in 2001. This bike is 100% stock and original except for the tires, oil, coolant and filter! Nothing chopped, trimmed, aftermarket or replaced since new. Garage kept since new, by the original owner and by me, the second owner. Bike has never been down, crashed, or fallen over in the garage. The paint, rubber and plastic are original and all show very well! The bike has had only Mobil 1 full synthetic since it's first oil change, using only Honda OEM filters. All services have been performed according to the service schedule in the manual. The last oil and filter change was Dec. 2017. New OEM Yuasa battery in Dec. 2017, with "Battery Tender" pigtail attached for easy charging. Matched set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires installed less than 500 miles ago, rear has a plug (ugh!) but the bike is otherwise free of any notable flaws. The tires have plenty of tread, but may need replaced due to age, as the bike has been stored more than ridden since l purchased it.
