1989 Ford Mustang ASC Mclaren convertible. ASC McLaren #150 of 247 in 1989. Rare manual transmission (most ASC Mclarens were ordered with a automatic transmission). Low mile mint condition original survivor. Less than 44,000 original miles. Only 14 produced in this color combo. Garaged since new. This car was only driven in the summer time and has never seen bad weather. Meticulous maintenance. Original bone stock 5 liter H.O motor and five speed manual Borg Warner T5 transmission. Power windows, brakes, mirrors, steering, seats, door locks, A/C, cruise control. The original paint is near flawless. Original black cloth top. Original ASC Mclaren installed gray leather interior including leather ASC Mclaren steering wheel and shifter knob. ASC designed the convertible to be a 2 seater with a manual top that completely folds under a hard cover like the Mercedes SL of the day. The factory tinted windshield is tilted back an additional 10 degrees and special door glasses are installed. ASC also installed exclusive door panels and console. The rear seat was replaced by a panel with two storage compartments. The ASC Mclaren is also equipped with unique rocker panel ground effects and rear spoiler. Car is equipped with black powder coated 1993 Cobra wheels and Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires, but the original ASC aluminum wheels with good tires are included. The only other modification from stock is a Flowmaster exhaust system.
