1946 Chevrolet COE Chevy Cabover No Reserve - High bid gets it!!! Jeepers Creepers! This thing is pretty cool! '46 Chevy COE. I have seen a few of these on here (not many) and this one is one of, if not THE best. I'm not comparing this to a restored truck obviously, but for an all original, 72 year old truck, this one is truly amazing. I'm going to get the bad out of the way first, which is very little. First is the dent on the right fender (included in pics) and second, mice seem to feel at home in the space above the windshields on this vintage of truck. This one is no exception, and mouse waste created a little corrosion in that area on inside of cab. (also in pics.) Other than the 2 things previously listed, you are most likely looking at one of the straightest, cleanest, and rust free '46 cabovers in existence. I'm not trying to make this out to sound like a museum piece, but it is 100% rust free. The doors open and close nice. Window's roll up and down. It has all its original equipment, even the cover for the crank hole in the grill. The engine is complete, and it is not stuck. The only reason the old gentleman I purchased it from quit using it, is that the starter went out. He pulled the starter off, but never got it fixed. It is still sitting on the floorboard. So, I'm sure it would run without much work at all. The floor cover on the passenger side is missing, but it will be extremely easy to make a new one. It is missing one rear wheel, but I will provide one with the truck, I have several laying around. I will also remove the bed for free, if wanted. It is a hydraulic dump bed. I have applied for title, in my name, and have all paperwork from the state, although actual title may be a couple weeks out. I guarantee a clear Kansas title to go with this truck. I am also O.K. with this truck sitting awhile for you to arrange transport. Heck - the longer the better - I have a lot of fun talking to people stopping in to look at it!
