Up for auction is the feared and sought after EVOlution VIII Grand Sport Racing edition. After almost 15 years of owning this piece of automotive history is my 2003 Lancer Evolution VIII. The EVO 8 was the 1st of the 7 previous Evolution's to be allowed into the United States. For this is why it is a collectors item and piece of automotive history. The value of this vehicle will continue to improve. It has been a struggle even thinking about selling this car. it turns heads whenever I drive it. Only driven on weekends and to have some dry fun. Out of all of the high dollar EVO's listed here for sale, this one will Mosdef not disappoint! I bought the car in January 2003 just after my oldest daughter was born. I thought it would be a nice, fast family car. I was not going to modify it and even bought an extended factory warranty to ensure I would leave it alone...that lasted one week. I was off to RMR in Huntington Beach Ca. for my 1st mod. I have done many since, but tried to keep it tasteful. The Evo has been through many sets of wheels and a few looks. The EVO dynoed at 443 AWHP with 393 tq. running 93 octane on a dynojet. sheets included. That dyno run was with HKS 264 cams. currently it has and, has had for years JUN 268 cams with much improved lift for a better mid-range and especially top end. (the dyno moved so I was no longer able to have it re-done with accuracy) NEVER TRACK RACED, NEVER EVEN DRIVEN IN THE RAIN. A local tuner drove this recently and said "the car is like a brand new car.
