This is a rare museum quality 1982 XL100s, all original with the exception of a Scott throttle grip. Tires, tubes and air caps are all original. There are only 933 original miles. Minor scratches can be seen on the gas tank but there are no dents. This bike is so clean, you could park in your living room! The story of this bike starts in Michigan, originally owned by a paper delivery boy, delivering papers to nearby neighborhoods back in the day. It's assumed that the light scratches on the tank occurred from the delivery bag. The seat is in perfect condition. All the engine gaskets and bushings look brand new. The bike was running perfectly a year ago and has been kept in the garage covered since. I have no doubt it will start and run just as it did last year A rare find for the vintage Honda collector and perfect enough to be preserved s a time piece. No other bikes from 1982 in this condition with under 1,000 miles have I found to date except in motorcycle museums. This bike model was the one kids beat up on and let their friends ride. I have been dragging my feet with listing this awesome bike for sale but, I need more room in the garage and since it's never ridden, it's just taking up space that is needed. The lucky purchaser will also recieve the original Honda key, Honda Keychain,1983 brand new chrome turn signals and an official 1982 shop manual to fix anything needed.
