This is a no reserve auction for a 1990 Honda Pacific Coast. I am relisting this bike after I had ended the auction on 5/28 because I do not have a title for this motorcycle and I was trying to find out if I could get one. Because it is over 20 years old the CT DMV does not issue titles for vehicles over 20 years old. It is registered in my name right now and after talking with the DMV all you need to register this bike is the current registration and a bill of sale. So if you are interested in bidding please keep that in mind. This bike has an 800cc v-twin motor, which is totally stock and runs great. I've had no problems with the motor whatsoever. In fact the only problem I've had with this bike, is that it had a leaking slave cylinder for the hydraulic clutch when I bought it 3 years ago, which I replaced right away. In addition to changing the oil and filter every year since I've owned it, I also completely tuned it up the first year. I changed the spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, anti-freeze, and rear drive fluid. I also replaced the front and rear tires with Metzeler ME880 Marathon tires. They are only 3 years old with 5,750 miles on them. Although the bike looks nice it has many cosmetic flaws such as faded, scratched and chipped paint, and cracks in parts of the fairing. It also has a crack in the windshield which is a taller than stock aftermarket version. I don't have the original windshield for it. Basically if you are looking for a pristine example of a Pacific Coast, you'll have to look elsewhere. I have a set of new front and rear wheel bearings and front brake pads which I will include in the auction. I was going to replace them when I replaced the tires but everything looked good so I figured that I would do them when I did the next tire change. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs or for picking up the bike in person, although I can deliver the bike within a 40 or 50 mile radius.
