Vehicle Detail
Garage kept, well maintained. Starts, idles, and runs great - took it out for 90 mile ride the other day. Dependable! I run ethanol free when possible. Would also be fun for track days. The Good: Suspension! The SV is a good bike but what holds it back from being great is the suspension. I fixed that with gold valve cartridge fork emulators and 0.90 kg/mm springs from Traxxion Dynamics with 20 weight fork oil and a Progressive rear shock, Sag set up for 200# rider. I did the forks first and it helped but the rear shock made a huge difference for the better.Stainless steel braided brake lines front and rearVesrah RJL brake pads (front)Coolant and brake fluid changed regularly but most recently February of this year, also changed oil & filter, Valvoline motorcycle oil 10W-40Tank has been cleaned and treated with POR-15Bodywork and tank are near-mint condition. Has Tech-Grip tank pads which really help.Chain and sprockets replaced at 19,000 miles, old sprockets still looked good. Went from 43T to 44T on rear sprocket.Carb jetted for Leo Vince SBK Ti High mount pipe 142.5 mainsAlso includes stock jets, stock pipe and adapter to remount it if desiredShop manual printed on HD paper, not the super-thin factory stuff.Stock parts go with it, see pictureFrame sliders, swing arm spoolsFactory manual, toolkit, receipts, parts instructions.Minor flaws: The low fuel light does not come on, spare sensor included (see pic).Right fork leg weeping a bit (being very picky)Tach paint peeling from being parked in the sun at work (being very picky).Mods: drag bars (comfortable for me, I'm 6'1"), "special" vintage grips (work great), smaller turn signals, fuel tank spacers, custom license plate holder, Leo Vince SBK Hi-mount titanium pipe, suspension. Still using stock style air filter. Voltage regulator upgraded to a Yamaha - including info on that. All spare parts as shown in picture included, too much to list. The silver bodywork could use some cleanup but it's solid. Not shown are a set of carbs I used for parts. Happy to answer any questions, good luck bidding!! turbopwrOn Jun-03-18 at 07:43:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Link to cold start video: https://youtu.be/t26L85zGkDw
