1963 FORD ECONOLINE TRAVEL WAGON - Rare Travel Top Model #1171 Van is very restorable, 98% of original parts are present including the rear differential, the motor, axle, radiator and more. I bought this van from the original owner with full intentions of restoring it but due to medical issues, I cannot. This van spent most of it's driving life going cross country with a family of 5, mostly camping in California. This van has been out of service since 1978. Van lost rear axle 40 years ago and the owner stopped driving it. For 25 years it sat in a barn. For the last 15 years, it has been sitting outdoors. Van has a 6 cylinder motor, manual transmission. Engine oil is at correct level. Motor ran when parked but is stuck from sitting for years. Original keys are with van and fit the vehicle. The differential, air cleaner, front original seats, front bumper & bracket, radiator, hub caps, rear wheels and other miscellaneous parts are inside the van. Miscellaneous nuts & bolts are there, some are missing. All glass is in tact and not rotted out of the body. Driver's window is missing. Has original brake lines which are still good. Camper top is a #1171 and is functional. It needs some restoration it is working and not rusted through. Van is very solid frame-wise. Floor is generally in good condition. There are a few spots which need attention. There is a rust line around the rear wheel well where it meets the floor. Wheel wells are solid. Additional pictures available by request.
