This is the last proper year of the E39 series V8. Very clean engine and other mechanical parts. AC runs cold and the transmissions shifts smooth. When I first purchased this car 25,000 miles ago I had the valve covers taken off and according to Nick Yanzito of Yanzito repair in Parker. Nick says said it is very clean mechanically and well cared. Look him up to get an unbiased opinion. What is new or has been replaced within the last year 8000 miles: Dash console refurbished so there are no dead pixels, all the Lights are working and gauges are accurate. Catalytic converter Alternator Battery (6/17) Power steering pump Idler pulley and tensioner arm HID headlights and ballasts Angel/Halo light bulbs were replaced by LED Fog lights replaced with a better focusing version however they are still halogen bulbs. Fuel pump and regulator Front tires have less than 1000 miles on them Rear tires are brand new. (Less than 200 miles) The drivers airbag was replaced as part of a recall by BMW when the rear tires were replaced. (I have receipts). Both front window regulators have been replaced. In April of 2018 I had the following service completed; thermostat replaced, Coil packs and plugs on cyl 1 & 2 Thrust arm bushing was cracked so it was replaced. This is a great car that is ready for many miles of driving enjoyment.
