Vehicle Detail
Selling a one of a kind 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee that's been professionally converted to a Cummins diesel. Started life as a 4.7L V8 with quadradrive. Now has a 2007 Cummins B3.3T Turbo diesel engine. This isn't a rattley clangey 4BT out of a bread truck. These are known for being balanced and running smooth. This definitely wasn't some hacked together mess of a swap. The shop that did it spent a ton of time and money making it the best it could be. I've owned numerous diesel vehicles including a bunch of 4BT swaps and have never had one run this smooth! This is a cruising machine and could definitely be a daily driver. Fly in and drive it home if you'd like! I've personally driven it around town and even on a 800 mile all highway trip with no issues! There are NO idiot lights that stay on the dash, again, there are NO error lights! Try finding that! All the lights light up when you first turn the key and then go out just like it was a stock motor. There was a lot of time spent making all the vehicle controls function like they should. All the power options work as does the overhead console. Has everything you'd expect from jeep including keyless entry! The motor was completely rebuilt by Cummins in Denver prior to the swap (around 20,000 miles ago). Body has 209,000 miles. A Bosch Zexel VE mechanical injection pump was used as well as the turbo upgraded to a 13t-td041. Custom intercooler and radiator fabbed up just for the use to keep things cool. Trans is a fully rebuilt 46RH automatic using pressure switches to control the OD and torque converter lockup. They are nicely dialed in and if have manual over rides if you'd rather not have it done automatically for you. Transfer case is a 242 selec-trac and 4x4 works great! Suspension has a 2" lift with Rough Country 90+ springs giving it about a 3" overall lift. To keep things working nice, it has a pitman arm drop, adjustable lower control arms, and adjustable track bar. Brake booster has been replaced with a hydro-booster. Vacuum pump runs the HVAC controls and the heat and AC works great! Body has a 2004 Jeep front end conversion with custom painted hood. There are some dents, dings, and scratches here and there but it really is a sharp looking vehicle. Undercarriage is mostly black and very clean. Has aftermarket high quality rear LED tail lights. Newer Jeep Wrangler Rubicon style wheels with BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires. They are suprisingly quiet and have about 50% tread left. Interior is very clean for the year. Could use a carpet shampoo but comes with the Rugged Ridge fitted full floor mat set that is like new (sorry I didn't clean them up for the pics lol). Clean and clear title in hand ready to go for the new buyer. Best part of the swap is the title even says diesel on it! I know the previous owner even had it pass emissions in their state! This will sell with NO RESERVE to the high bidder so bid to win! Just these motors alone are bringing great money and try finding one in a running, driving swap that's ready to go! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them! $200 paypal deposit due within 24 hours and full payment due in cash in person within 7 days. I'm pretty easy to work with. If you need other arrangements, please don't assume and just ask me first.
