This is a well-maintained 1972 Triumph Bonneville T120V, the last year of the 650cc engine and the first year of the 5-speed transmission. Bike has the rare and attractive 'beauty covers' installed to cover the ugly airbag set-up that marred the design of early-70's Bonnevilles. The bike was painted in the maroon/white 1976 Bonneville color scheme by the prior owner, but it looks great in that color, so I've left it that way. Bike starts easily, idles well, shifts, runs, and stops very well for its age. A very rideable, attractive classic British bike to own. I've owned the bike for 10 years, and have done numerous upgrades and repairs to the bike over the years, including: - Transmission upgraded, with new, stronger shift gears - Replacement of the notorious 'leaf-spring' detent shifter with the more reliable plunger-spring shifter- New wiring loom installed in 2015 to replace the frayed original one- New electrical connectors throughout for safety and reliability- New Lithium Battery installed From time to time, I've converted the bike to a cafe racer style, with shorty front fender, rearset footpegs, 1960's side covers, bump-style seat, pod air filters, lower handlebars, and bar-end mirrors.
