The pictures tell most of the story, here is the rest: This is a SMOKE-FREE, PET-FREE, "REPORTED" ACCIDENT-FREE TRADE-IN from our dealership. It's a genuinely cool car but needs some repairs per our technician's inspection. Please take a few minutes to see all 60+ photos and read the tech's report on what needs fixed. We left a few photo slots "open" in case we left out something you'd like to see. Here's what our tech says are the problems: #1 He felt the battery might need to be replaced - it's more likely that it was run down by the deck lid not latching and the trunk light draining it as it's been fine for over a week. #2 The hood struts need to be replaced as they don't hold it up. #3 The ABS, Brake and MIL alerts are lighted and systems need attention. #4 Gear Box "alert" is illuminated on the instrument cluster. It ran and shifted fine while the photos were being taken, no idea what's causing this. #5 Rear differential is leaking, not enough to leave a puddle, but a "corona" of oil on the housing. #6 Power steering pump is very noisy, especially when cold. #7 Exhaust system leak - not loud (yet) but evident. #8 Left side hood latch inoperative #9 Top leaks (top appears to be nearly new/improper installation?) #10 Right front low beam headlight needs replaced, high beam OK #11 The heated seats appear not to be working - could be a fuse?
