This is kind of a rare find. A 1967 Dodge D200 Crew Cab Camper Special. This complete truck (minus the tailgate) made it to a wrecking yard in Rimrock Arizona back in the early 1990's where it was purchased by a gentleman who wanted to swap the rearend from this truck into his other 1971 Dodge crew cab pickup because he wanted better gas mileage with the more freeway friendly rear end gears that this truck possessed. He had the swap done and used this truck around his property in the Prescott area where it remains to this day. The mileage on the truck is unknown but since he purchased it in June of 1994 it was only driven on his property so it didn't rack up many miles during that 24 year period. I asked him why he never drove it on the road and he said that he never bothered to register the truck or insure the truck so he just kept it for use around the house as his main driver was his 1971 Crew Cab Dodge. I inspected the paperwork and sure enough it comes with the original title from C.A.R.S. Auto Wrecking which is signed off and notarized along with a bill of sale and receipt for cash payment for the truck all dated 6/7/1994. It is a salvage title as it was purchased by C.A.R.S. in December of 1993. The old guy decided to sell his 1971 Crew Cab and I went up to his property to check it out (you can see the 71 in the background of some of the pictures) and I noticed this old crew cab and an old Power Wagon as well on the property. He wouldn't part with the Power Wagon but we did a package deal for both of the Crew Cabs as he was going to send it to the scrapper. I had been looking for a Crew Cab model to pull a vintage trailer with but I don't need them both. The truck is super solid. It did not have any floor mat to trap moisture so the floors are in good condition as are the footwells and rockers. The glass is all there but the front windshield is cracked. The seats are there but obviously need attention. The bed has damage to the right rear which probably caused it to end up in a wrecking yard in the first place but it certainly is fixable. The old guy stopped driving it a few years back so it will need to have the usual items looked at for a vehicle that hasn't run in a few years. Everything under the hood is complete and it looks like it was running the last time it was parked with all hoses, belts etc. intact. The old guy swore it would run with a battery and some fresh gas but I cannot guarantee the working condition of the drive train. The engine does turn freely by hand. It's a 318 with a 4 speed transmission. Overall the truck is currently in rough condition but a great candidate for restoration or could just be used for parts. Just the cab alone is worth the price I'm asking for the entire truck. The truck is still at the old guys property in Dewey Arizona and will need to be removed from there. Tires hold air and will roll on a trailer. I can get in touch with him as needed to coordinate shipping and to answer any questions that I can't answer about the truck. Please ask any and all questions before considering buying the truck and I do recommend personal inspection before buying, if possible.
