You are bidding on a great running 2002 BMW 530. The car has 164K miles and runs like a BMW should. This car has been family owned for 2 or 3 years and has been virtually trouble-free. The engine runs strong with no smoking or leaks. The transmission shifts 100% through all gears with no slipping. It has been garaged throughout ownership. The paint is in overall decent condition but there are a couple of scratches as to be expected for a car of this vintage (pictured.) The car has never been in an accident and all panels are straight with minimal dents or dings worth mentioning here. The interior is in great shape. The seats and carpet are clean and tear and stain free. The leather is in excellent condition - not showing visible signs of wear. All electronics function properly: heated seats, navigation/computer information panel, heat/ac, etc. Issues of note: I cannot get radio mode to operate (it doesn't require a code.) Driver's seat back needs one of the motors replaced. The passenger side heat button has come off - unless in automatic temperature mode, passenger side temps need to be adjusted with a pen or small screwdriver. The traction control light needs to be reset. Check engine light is on. Mechanically, the car is in very good condition. It drives, runs and shifts without issue. In the past few months, I have replaced valve cover gasket, secondary air pump and alternator. The tires, front brake pads and rotors were replaced a year ago.
