1978 CHEVY C-10 STEPSIDE CUSTOM RESTORATION!! SHOW WINNER!! You are viewing a 1978 Chevy C-10 Stepside that has been completely redone. It was a restoration that became a labor of love and took over 7 years to complete. You can tell the build was done right, because looking at it is one thing, but getting behind the wheel and driving it is truly amazing. The truck runs so smooth, and the suspension is so tight that its almost like driving a new vehicle......its that nice!! Exterior: The exterior was done in a base clear with painted flames. The body is straight and solid. The depth and shine on the paint is brilliant. It has a custom front grill with dark headlight covers. There are even cases for the headlight covers to store when driving at night. The wiper blades and arms and mirrors have also been painted to match the flames. Notice the front bumper was custom painted to match the flames and the corners fade to orange. This is not your ordinary paint job. The floors and frame are excellent and underneath the truck looks immaculate. The wood has been redone inside the bed. The rear bumper simulates a Corvette lighting display. The Torque Thrust wheels really set off the restoration with wider wheels and tires on the rear for a stronger look and better traction. Interior: The interior is beautiful and flows nicely from the exterior finish to the interior. It displays a new dash and gauge package with after market gauges and tachometer. The seats have been redone and the door panels to match. All new carpeting and custom headliner have been installed to make this interior show ready. A custom sound system allows you to enjoy the ride with your favorite tunes. This truck is also equipped with A/C and is ice cold. An upgraded tilt wheel steering column was added along with a custom steering wheel. The interior also has power windows. The pictures will speak for themselves. Let us know of any questions you may have. Drive-Train: The truck has an 87 Pontiac Trans Am 350 with Tuned Port Injection engine that before it was installed was completely freshened up. All new correct injectors were just installed. It also has a new heater core and brand new A/C system. The transmission is the TH350 and it has a 3.55 posi rear. This truck is road ready, its suspension was lowered for stance but rides smooth. Its not choppy. Also all suspension and steering components were done right, no rattling, no clunks or shimmies.
