This is a factory C Code car that has had a frame up restoration. It has a ton of eye appeal along with some great driver options. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Ford, but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. Looking down the sides you will see it has excellent body lines that flow beautifully from front to back. All the gaps on are phenomenal and the fit of the hood, doors, and trunk are near perfect. This '66 is covered in the Silver Blue Metallic Paint, which is how it would have come from the factory. It's been polished to a beautiful shine and is accented by the White side stripes. All the chrome and stainless on this coupe is very nice and only shows some light aging. The glass is also in excellent condition. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 14" Rallys with US Royal Red Line Tires. Next, we will look at the interior of this Coupe. On the inside it's done in the Blue and White Pony style interior. This is also the factory option for this Mustang and is stunning complement to the exterior color combo. It has the front bucket seats and rear bench seat. This car is a factory Air Condition car, so you'll notice it has the AC unit under the dash. Looking closer at the dash you will see the gauges are and in great condition, and they are all working. Along with the gauges working it also has a working digital knobbed radio. All the interior lights are working from the dash and door to the dome light. Inside the trunk it has a spare, trunk mat, and a set of floor mats. Finally, we will get to the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the Date Code Correct 289 Engine. This car was built 2/7/66 and the engine dates as 1/28/66. The 289 is set up with the correct C60E-9425 Intake with a 2 Barrel Carb. It's mated to the C4 Trans and date code correct 8" Rear End with a 2.80 Gear. This is a great driving vehicle that comes with Power Steering and Four Wheel Drum Brakes. When you look under it you will see it has Dual Pipes with the stock style mufflers. The Floors and frame all appear to be original and in excellent condition.
