Up for auction is a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300 TD. This is a diesel engine also known as the million mile motor. It runs very strong and there are no leaks of any kind, no rust at all. She is only at 279,000 miles so if you keep up her maintenance she can easily get to a million miles. This is a VERY reliable car. It looks great.The clear coat is faded a little on the hood and the roof it's original paint . Title in hand shows 189k miles. It gets great gas mileage. On Mar-10-18 at 16:32:51 PST, seller added the following information: Since I received a lot of emails asking more details about the car, I would like to add some other things in the description.1.The FM/AM cassette player is working and the antenna is working (up and down)2.The front and back windshield wiper is working and all the exterior lights (signals, low beam, high beam, L/P, backup light) are working 3.all the windows open and close smoothly and the defrost is working4.all the lights and gauges in the dashboard is working including fuel gauge with warning lights and all the switches/buttons works perfectly including the back interior light 5.emergency break is working6.The engine starts right up without any problem and is very stable (no shaking at all)7.Heater and AC is working What doesn't work 1. One of the headlights front driver side2. Front interior light3. Emergency break light comes on even when disengaged emergency brake- ( it just needs to be tightened)4.The hood opener from front grill is missing, so now a small wire is attached in order to open the hood Also I forgot to mention, there is a rust spot and the clear coat is faded in the trunk lid, as you can see on picture #4.
