Vehicle Detail
For sale is my classic 1956 Willys 2-door utility wagon. Four wheel drive. Complete truck, just tuned up and runs great! Rebuilt carburetor, fresh tune-up, new electric fuel pump, new 12v battery and brand new tires all around. Clean California title. This model has the L6-226, F-head 6 cylinder “Super Hurricane” engine which runs flawlessly and a three speed transmission with four wheel drive and locking hubs. Shows 82966 miles on the odometer, but I do not know if this is the true mileage or not. It has flat panel sides with edging that gave the impression of wood construction despite being all steel. It’s a very solid car for being over 60 years old and needs some work to be perfectly roadworthy. Parts are available from a variety of sources. Fun to drive to the beach with your surfboard or take off roading in the desert. It is 60 plus years old and there are things that could be use some work. The body and frame are in good condition but there is some rust damage, mostly in the floors. The vehicle has been repainted and new upholstery some years ago. Solid enough to turn into a daily driver or or can be fixed up to be a concours dream. All in all, a great vehicle to have that will give years of enjoyment. No reserve action so will sell to highest bidder. As is! Bidders with no or negative feedback please contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be canceled. The rear hatch latches do work from the outside. To get in, I need to reach inside to open, although once closed and driving, the doors latch securely.
