A great running VW Golf. Recent items include tires, oil, all belts-including timing belt- and resr shocks. No leaks. Starts and idles great. Gas mileage is always above 30 mpg.Little spots of rust, and rear head liner is starting to sag, but otherwise a good dependable car. I put a trailer hitch on to pull my riding lawnmower sometimes. Car is Illinois-titled and registration expired in Dec. 2017. Car is Ca. compliant for vehicle air status, but will need to be smogged. Only issue is a fauilty gas tank ventilator hose-needs replacement. Just drove it from Illinois in Dec. 2017 with zero issues.
