1997 Ford F-350 Powerstroke Diesel Previous owner shortened the frame of this truck and put a Ford Short Bed on it. Very clean body for the year. Odometer showing 177187. I have the Massachusetts title for the truck. For some reason the title reads Odom Discrepancy, however a VIN check does not indicate any reported discrepancies other than “mileage unknown” at some point. Mileage seems accurate as the truck is clean, runs great, and appears stock inside. This powerstroke runs, drives and stops but does need some work to be perfect. One rear hard brake line is broken and needs to be replaced, the truck shifts into 4wd properly but needs a front drive shaft for 4wd to function, the driver side mirror is gone and needs to be replaced, and the driver side inside door handle needs to be replaced. Little rust in bedside fenders. Bed rails are clean. I drove the truck 20 miles around town today 03/01/2018, however it is not ready to go down the highway and needs the brake line fixed etc. Nice project with a small amount of work have a beautiful Classic OBS Ford. Not a Rot box like most out there. Good--Clean for the year, Rockers and Cab Corners good, oil pan looks good, core support has rust but is still solid. -Runs, Drives, Stops -TS6 Position Performance Switch -Nice aluminum rims -Runs strong, lots of power-Transmission shifts smooth -Power windows, Locks and Lumbar seat support, all work -Radio works, heat works, haven’t tried AC-Heater cord through grill works -All exterior lights work Bad--Needs driver inside door handle, Front Driveshaft, and Rear brake line repair - May need new door lock cylinders ($50 for both 10 minute install) With a little work have yourself a beautiful Powerstroke Diesel OBS Ford.
