As pre-1973 Porsche 911 values have grown; many collectors and enthusiasts have started to look at the last series of the air-cooled Porsches from 1995 to 1998 as very rare and an excellent value, in addition to being the safest and most advanced of their generation. This 22-year-old car has been meticulously restored to original condition, with some desirable modifications that improve the already incredible dynamics of the car. The current owner has owned the car for five years, and upon acquiring the car turned to renowned Southern California Porsche specialist 911 Design, for an extensive mechanical restoration. All the work was done to the highest possible level. The car is flawless and handles better than new. The engine was rebuilt to 3.8 litre specs including the installation of a Vario-Ram intake system that gives the car a much better torque curve and excellent acceleration throughout the rpm range ( all the original parts come with the car if someone wants to remove the Vario Ram) . The transmission was rebuilt and the wheels and brakes redone. The car has its original stance and is fantastic. The interior is all original, other than the front seats which were recovered. Everything works as new on this car. The cabriolet top is perfect along with the wind screen. The suspension was re-done and front and rear factory sway bars were added for excellent handling. The car has only been driven a few hundred miles since all the work was complete. The car feels like a brand new 1995 Porsche C4S with the added safety of 4-wheel drive.
