I am the second owner of this car. I bought it in 2003 from my neighbor in Naples, Florida. She purchased it new from Pohanka Mercedes in Maryland. Since then it has been used as a summer car in New York State and a winter car in Florida. The interior shows minimal wear. The headliner is clean and perfect. There are a few tiny tears in the right rear and driver’s doors, as seen in the photos. Mercedes floor mats are still protecting the original carpets underneath. The Bose sound system is great. The car did not originally come with a CD changer, but I added an original equipment Mercedes unit. The Desert Silver exterior finish is still pretty nice. The imperfections are shown in the photos. There have been no accidents. Mechanically the car drives very well. I have always used synthetic oil and followed Mercedes maintenance recommendations regarding fluid and filter replacements. The front brake pads and sensors were replaced at 36000 miles. The rear brakes seemed to last forever, but were finally replaced at 94000 miles. Over the years, various repairs were made, mostly to sensors of one kind or another. I have all the records. The most significant was a complete rebuild of the AC system done three years ago by MB Experts of Naples. There are no leaks. The current set of tires was put on several years ago. They are Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring with about 28000 miles on them. The only thing that doesn’t work is the light on the outside temperature readout. Also, the vanity mirror covers broke off. But I have them.
