I'm selling my 914 to fund another car. I really hate to see this one go. I've had several 914's over the years, but never planned on selling this one. This is an extremely nice car, it runs perfect, shifts smooth and has had a lot of love in recent years. This car has always been in CA still has its original blue plates Vin Number for the Car is 4742917156Engine number is GA 0007282Transmission number is HA 14083 I was told by the previous owner (who used this as a daily driver for 3 years) that the engine was rebuilt. However, I have no paper work to back that up. I can say that the engine starts right up, idles nice and smooth and has lots of power. This is a great car and will only go up in value. 914s are a great way to get into the air-cooled Porsches. These cars where way ahead of their time. They have 4 wheel disc brakes, 5 Speed Transmissions, incredible handling and a design that still looks great today. This is a Numbers Matching car, original Engine & Transmission. Since this is a 74 it has the side shift transmission which is much better than the earlier tail shifters. This car gets more comments and thumbs up on the road than any other car I have and I have several other Porsches.
