Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 1986 944 Turbo Track Car -- SP2. THIS CAR DOES NOT COME WITH A TITLE AND CANNOT BE DRIVEN ON THE PUBLIC HIGHWAY. This is fully prepped track car designed to race on a track/road course. I am the third owner of the vehicle. I purchased it with the intent to race it in regional Porsche events. Medical limitations have hindered that plan. So my lost dream is your opportunity! The second owner was very active with the car on the East coast as he was a PCA instructor. To my knowledge and inspection, the car has never been wrecked. Rather, it was purchased as a very clean, low mileage Porsche with the intent to strip it and turn it into a very competitive racer. This car is very fast and is a solid performer. The list of aftermarket enhancements is partially detailed below: 2.5L Sleeved Block - Wildfire Headgasket- Raceware Head studsVIPEC Engine Management - Safe Guard Engine Knock ControlTurbo SSPD with Quaife Limited Slip DifferentialFuel CellCustom Built GT30 Turbo From Lindsey Racing993 Turbo Brake SystemSet of CCW Wheels with Hoosier R6 TiresAuto Power Cage With Chassis StiffeningCoekln and Racers Edge Spherical BushingsSparco Racing Seat and Steering WheelBilstein Custom Valve Coil Overs With Hyper Coil SpringsAccusump Oil AccumulatorLindsey Racing Aluminium Radiator and Cool SystemLindsey Racing Balance Shape Delete996 GT Bumper and Carbon SplitterCustom Wing3" Exhaust SystemTilton Trans Pump with Stainless Braided Lines to Trans CoolerWired for In-car Radio and Cooling Suit SystemLexan WindowsCustom removable nose cone and custom hood I'm sure I'm missing a number of other components and features. Hence, anyone wishing to inspect the car ahead of bidding is welcome to contact me at 402-304-1413. The Auction does have a very low reserve. However, my full intent is to sell the car to someone who is going to be able to race it and enjoy its performance. Upon completion of the auction, a $500 deposit will be required within 24 hours of the final bid. The vehicle will need to be picked-up outside of Omaha, Nebraska. No shipping or transportation will be provided. The balance of the purchase value of the vehicle will need to be provided via cashier's check or cash prior to it being loaded for transport. This is your chance to own a piece of motoring history that is very fast and very fun to drive! Good luck!!!
