Price reduced for quick sale. All offers considered. 1983 Jeep CJ7 Renegade I bought this Jeep from the original owner out of California. The story goes that this Jeep was titled in the owners name, but his father used it for many years. His father passed in early 2000s, and then the Jeep sat. When I bought it, it was pretty dirty. I removed the roll bar, seats, and cleaned the heck out of it inside and out. Since the roll bar was out, I took the opportunity to snap some photos in normally rust-prone areas, such as under the feet. As you can see, there is no rust in those locations. Just extremely mild surface rust that has not done any damage to the tub at all. This Jeep is very nice. There is no rust whatsoever on the body/tub other than very minor surface rust on the driver side floor panel (see photo). This rust does not penetrate through the steel, and does not need any type of repair whatsoever. The only area where you will find mild rust is the windshield frame, so I would look at replacing it down the road. I dropped the windshield frame to look at the cowl and it is very clean (see photo), so not to worry about rust there. The decal are all original and are a bit sun faded. The paint was very patina, but I had my detail guy bring some life back to it after a day of detailing. As you can tell from the photos, the Jeep has some rock chips, scratches, etc. But, the most important thing is it has very solid bones! No major dents or damage anywhere. Tires are in nice shape and I don't think the spare tire has ever touched the ground. Oh, and a super cool original Ramsey winch comes on the Jeep. If I bought the Jeep, here's what I'd do. I'd change all fluids and give it a tune-up. Maybe purchase a soft top/doors, or leave it as-is and cruise. The Jeep runs very strong. All the gauges are original, and in working condition. There are no real "issues" with this Jeep at all. Sure, it may need something minor here or there, but what CJ doesn't? It's a great Jeep for the money, and priced to sell. You'll be hard pressed to find an all-original CJ in this condition for this price. It looks as good in person as it does in the photos. Though the Jeep runs fine, please remember it is a 35 year old vehicle. I'd love to say fly in and drive it home, but I personally would never drive a very long distance in a CJ7 without knowing it inside and out. I think it would be fine to go quite some distance, but with transport being so inexpensive these days, I'd really consider that option. Or, drive in yourself with a trailer and tow it home. If you need assistance with transport, I have a very inexpensive, reliable transport guy that I use quite often. I've found him to be the cheapest in the industry. For example, I recently shipped a Jeep from Georgia to Arizona for about $750. $500 immediate deposit due. Balance due within 2 business days. Wire transfer preferred, or cashier's check/money order will work just fine. Vehicle pickup is expected within 2 weeks or purchase. Check my eBay feedback and you'll see I very accurately describe the Jeeps that I sell. I do have wiggle room (little bit), but please be reasonable if you're going to submit an offer. This vehicle is priced very well as-is, but I'm motivated to make some room too. I have a clean/clear title in my name and will overnight it after payment has been completed. Thanks for looking!!
