Vehicle Detail
Thank You for looking at our eBay posting. I am so excited to share this find with all of you. very rarely do cars like this come up for sale . . . I have been attending this charity car auction for probably 12 years and I have never seen a BMW like this come through there. SO clean and SO nice and 100% stock. . . . you are looking at a 2000 BMW 528i sedan with an astounding 70,061 original miles ! ! ! which is just 3,888 miles per year ! ! ! this car was donated by a wealthy couple from Greenwich, Connecticut, which is one of the most affluent communities in the United States . . . . (Google it if you're not familiar with it) this car is absolutely incredible. it is that beautiful dark navy blue with a light grey leather interior. (interior still has that new leather aroma) there are zero serious issues with this car, motor and transmission are perfect, runs LIKE NEW and maintains proper temperature, it needs nothing, FLAWLESS CARFAX REPORT. this BMW has the legendary "bulletproof" 2.8 Litre in-line DOHC 6-Cylinder Engine It looks, runs and drives excellent it has never been smoked in, no kids, no pets. everything works beautifully none of the buttons show any wear overall car shows minimal use, it is really pretty amazing ! the only "issues" (if that's what you want to call them) are both typical and expected from a 5-series, is it does need that $7 ribbon cable replaced on the radio to take care of the pixel issue. (there are NO other pixel issues on the car) . . . the radio seems to functions fine (it has a factory BMW 6-CD changer in trunk I didn't test it) everyone knows this pixel thing is a common issue with these and it is nearly free to remedy, and the other item is the weatherstripping around the windshield needs replacing, again neither is a big deal and both are typical on these 5-Series . . . . . all of the owner's manuals and booklets are in place in their original leather case, all original keys are present, I even have the original window sticker (mint original condition) the MSRP in 2000 was $45,395 (which is $66,336 in 2017 dollars) the toolkit is all in place. none of the tools ever been used. this is truly like a time capsule. In the 25 years that I've had my drivers license, I've probably owned 20 BMWs everything from an old 1978 320i. .a Z3 to a 325ic (convertible) to a 740il and an 840ic coupe and pretty much everything in between . . . I AM VERY PICKY AND NONE WERE AS NICE AS THIS ONE. . . . I have to be honest with you when I saw this car at the charity auction I thought the car had been restored - THAT IS HOW NICE IT IS. . . . The Carfax is perfect, no issues - no accidents - no damage - no flood - no insurance claims or bodywork. this car will give you many many more years of driving pleasure. please look at our feedback especially the car related ones they all illustrate that we know how to describe our vehicles perfectly. I'm really not sure what else I can say about this car that I haven't already said we are starting the bid at $1 NO RESERVE !!!. I trust eBay will find the right selling price for this beauty. . . If you look at completed eBay auctions BMW's in this category have sold for upwards of $6,000+ I believe this one surpasses anything that's ever been on eBay before . . . .THIS CAR IS BEAUTIFUL ! ! ! ! I am tempted to keep it but I just bought a 1987 Bentley Eight from an estate we are handling (I own an estate sale company) and I already have a mint 1996 BMW 325IC Cabrio (w/72k) AND a Land Rover LR3 and I just don't have the room. . . really not much else to say. if I can use the old expression "a picture speaks a thousand words" . . there are a some minor dings and scrapes keep in mind it is a 18-year-old car but overall it's in fantastic condition, the leather is incredible on the interior. the wheels are in amazing shape . . .we are selling it no reserve. I think you will absolutely love this car. pictures are and accurate representation of what the car looks like in person this vehicle must be paid for within 48 HOURS OF AUCTION END we will assist with shipping, we have some VERY reasonable shippers upon receipt of payment we will overnight title, bill of sale and paperwork to you within 48 hours. (we prefer wire transfer) we have access to some VERY reasonable shippers. we will assist you in shipping the car. . .AND we will handle booking and meeting the shipper, and as a courtesy we will contribute $200 towards shipping. like any car nearly twenty years old, expect some scratches, dings, scrapes, dents, minor surface rust, light wear . . .ALL flaws very minor, if the car was perfect, it would be advertised as perfect. please ask your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, dog, cat, mailman, psychic . . . for permission AND any financial issues resolved BEFORE you bid, I have heard every excuse of why a high bidder can't complete the deal, including "my cat walked across keyboard and accidentally bid on it" . .YES that was a real "excuse" someone gave us. . . . VIN IS WBADM6344YGV00802 - this BMW is being sold with a clean/clear Connecticut Title and Connecticut Official Bill of Sale PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE BIDDING TO OWN THE CAR NOT BIDDING TO WIN THE CHANCE TO COME AND KICK THE TIRES AND THEN DECIDE IF YOU WANT IT, PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING, WE WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING.
