1987 Mercedes Benz 300e. This vehicle starts and runs. To start the vechicle, you need to press the gas pedal a couple times and hold it down while turning the ignition. It fires right up when you do this. This may be a fuel injection issue. I’m not a mechanic, so I’m not sure the exact cause of this. The power steering has a leak and therefore there is no power steering. This could be a larger leak in the seals, a leak in the power steering line or it may need a new power steering pump. Work completed with receipts: *October 9, 2017 - Replaced Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter. *September 19, 2017 - Oil change, NC inspection and replaced the overload relay. *June 6, 2016 - Replaced all 4 tires. *May 9, 2016 - Replaced the muffler. *February 23, 2016 - Replaced the lower ball joints. *April 22, 2015 - Replaced Brake pads and bearings. *December 15, 2015 - Replaced rear sway bar. Additional info and condition: Tires - Good tread and in good shape. Electrical - Power windows and sunroof all work. Vacuum locks do not work.
