Vehicle Detail

There has been over $30K invested into this S2000 to improve upon an already amazing car. There’s more power and performance with the modernized technologies seen in current cars. The styling and look of the car was kept tasteful and not over the top. This car has a clean title and been well kept and maintained. I recently did the 80K mile service maintenance and had new NGK Iridium spark plugs, new battery, wipers, and 6100 10W40 Synergi+ oil change. All services and installs were professionally done by Honda/Acura dealership or performance shops. Performance (Estimated Miles for installed components) Comptech Novi 1000 Supercharger, Comptech cold air intake, bigger injectors & pump, OEM performance clutch, Ricks 6 Headers, Hondata KPro, Autometer dual Apillar pod and LE Lunar series Boost Vacuum and Voltmeter (48K miles) Comptech Cat-Exhaust SS (60K miles) AEM Methanol Water injection system (72K miles) Drilled and slotted brake discs, fronts and rears with ceramic pads (72K miles) Racing rims, Enkei PF01, 17x7 Fronts, 17x8 Rears (82K miles) NOTE: All upgrades were done by either Honda/Acura or performance shops. The latest upgrades were done by Superior Racing Development. If you want even more performance, you can swap out for a smaller pulley ($120) that spins up the supercharger so you can get higher boost and therefore more horse power. You can change your gearing if you want more torque. You can see the Dyno tuning chart that the HP curve is practically a straight line going upwards without plateauing (unlike other Dyno curves you typically see). However, as it now I think you'll be very happy as to how it performs. Keep in mind the governor has been disarmed so it will rev beyond 9000 RPM. Additional Upgrades Anti-theft alarm: Viper alarm model is 5706V. It's setup with remote start and engine kill (you get two Viper key fobs in addition to the original Honda fobs). The system also has GPS tracking. Download the phone app to monitor car location. Pioneer 5100 NEX, 1000 watt AV system with backup camera, 4x infinity speakers, 10” kicker in custom truck box Andriod AV rear view mirror, with HD digital video recording camera, GPS, media player High powered under carriage hover LED lights LED lights in engine bay and truck compartment Honda emblem splash puddle door lights Side mirror signal arrows Passenger airbag on/off switch (in case you have young kids riding with you) Dual driver and passenger heated seats Custom phone compartment and control panel for heated seats and LED lights Custom cut hood vents Amuse front lip spoiler Extra strength canvas convertible top with glass window (48K miles). There’s one spot that rubbed so had it professionally spot repaired at 77K miles. Halo Projector and LED headlights (original headlights are boxed and yours as well) LED fog lights LED lit S2000 wind restrictor Two tone leather seat wrap (77K miles) Custom Emblems Additional Comments Methanol-Water Injection System: This setup is like having NOS but without the risk of blowing up your engine. The methanol-water injection cools intake charge temperature so there's less chance of detonation while increasing octane count of fuel so you can run more boost on pump gas. It also cleans up carbon build up, and keeps the valves, and combustion chamber clean. How I have it setup with the supercharger is the system will only turn on when you're boosting. Therefore you will not consume any methanol-water during causal driving without boost. On average, 1 gal of methanol-water lasts me 5-6 full tank of gas fill ups. You can buy 5 gal drum of 99%+ methanol for about $60 at performance shops. That typically lasts me for a year (though I don't use my S2000 for commuting or boost often). LED Lighting for Cabin/Cockpit and Under Carriage: These can change colors so you can adjust to the look you like. Exterior Paint: I had the car repainted (kept factory color: Silverstone Metallic) around 70K miles to get rid of minor paint chips from driving on the road and marks that happen from parking next to other cars. I just had the bumper refinished and painted to remove scrape marks. Emergency Roadside Tool Kit: I took the ERT kit out to make room for the sound system, but will included it with the car. I got rid of the spare tire because of its age (according the tire shops, the spare tires are only good for a period of time and you have to get a new one). Instead I have AAA so I don't worry about these things. Luckily, I never had to use it for the S2000. Head Lights: These are aftermarket head lights that have an updated look with both the halo and LED lights. The anti-reflective coating is flaking off (check image) when I had it recently detailed (probably from a solvent they used). I haven't addressed it as it just happened. It can probably be recoated or have the rest of the film removed. The original lights are included in the sale and are in great condition. Vented Hood: The hood is a custom job. You will not see many S2000 with this exact hood design as the vents where professionally machined from the original hood that came with the car and the mesh grills were added. This is not an aftermarket hood kit. AutoCheck Score: The AutoCheck Score is low due to having 7 owners, which I think is actually inaccurate; otherwise the report reflects a clean titled car with no accidents. I'm aware of 4 (including myself). The first one I don't know. The 2nd owner was a younger guy who had debt problems thus triggering a number of liens on the title of the car which made it look like it was sold but was not. The 3rd owner was a car enthusiast which kept it pristine and barely drove it. I'm the 4th owner and drove it more so, mainly for the driving enjoyment as I had other vehicles as my commuters. It's a 2000 car but it looks newer than cars that are 4-5 yrs old in my opinion, because it's been babied. Looks aside, though, it drives like a dream with no known mechanical issues. I can arrange to ship the car but the cost is on the buyer (you will pay the shippers directly). The cost varies depending on the distance but to give you an idea, it cost me $690 to ship from Seattle, WA to Scottsdale, AZ. On Dec-15-17 at 01:05:16 PST, seller added the following information: ------ Q&A Emissions Testing (specifically CA): Some of you expressed concerns about passing emission testing. Please read my response if this applies to you: You should have no problem passing emissions. This S2000 passed the first time, every time in WA and AZ, but superchargers in general are CARB certified to pass in 50 states; this is the main advantage for a supercharger vs turbo configuration. There are other benefits too, like no lag on boost, predictable and reliable linear power curves. You can read more from the experts by doing a search on (ebay won't let me include the link): superstreetonline.com and supercharger During emission testing conditions, the s2000 isn’t under boost at the level where the methanol-water injection turns on (green light on the boost gauge) thus won’t factor into the emissions results. If you want to read more on methanol-water benefits from the experts by doing a search on: streetmusclemag.com get schooled water methanol injection 101 I did a lot of research and this is the best setup for the s2000 when considering a balance between performance, drivability and reliability. Sure you can push this S2000 to 600-800 WHP but why do it when you risk upsetting a high performing, maintenance free setup. Just change your fluids and make sure things are in spec and this S2000 will be around to be pass onto your grand kids.
