Vehicle Detail

OK so here we go. This is my favorite toy and I've loved it but I broke it. I was planning on fixing it but my situation is changing due to a job relocation and I need to lighten my load. I built this thing into a stage 2 beast and she was putting down 450+ hp reliably. I drove her that way for 2 years. Last year I had an oil line leak on a long trip and burnt a bering in my motor. By the time i got it home piston 3 had torn its rings apart and shredded the inside of the cylinder. I was planning to do a new street rebuild so I aquired a used engine from Universal Auto Salvage. Just to get it on the road quickly I was just going to leave the stock block and turn down the boost. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I got a job offer across the country and must move so I won't be able to re-do another project. Truth is I've had a hard time finding the time lately even without this move. That's my house in the background there. Know anyone in need of a tidy 3br in Central Ohio? anyway... To get it ready for it's next owner I did as much as I could do in my home garage. I already did the motor swap, and bolted all the aftermarket stuff on the new engine including the Twin-Disc Clutch (which was a byotch!). Changed all the fluids and got her running. As-Is it starts and drives. The tranny & clutch shifts beautifully. The motor install needs some finishing work and a trip to the dyno tuner to re-map the fuel trims. What I can tell is, now It's running very rich and throwing a check engine light as the Up-Rev tune in the computer is not tuned for this current piston setup. My last motor had 8.5:1 pistons. Its driveable now but eats gas and wont rev very well so I would trailer it rather than trying to drive it home. Inside it's really nice with every option and all of them work. Factory air & cruise control all still working. Power heated seats with lumbar are nice. Car has very low miles as its just a weekend and occasional daily driver in the summers. Age has started to cause some of the leather trim to pull away from a wall in the back in some small spots but otherwise inside its very nice. Outside it has knicks and blemishes but most notably damage to the front nose from 2 years ago when she got angry during a race and got a little sideways attacking a speed limit sign(lol). There is a crease from the bottom of the front bumper cover up to the hood right in the middle. I never cared much for the exterior and let the engine do the talking so i never fixed it. I kept saying now that I've retired it from street racing, this time I'd make it fast but also I'd pretty it up again. Looks like I won't get the time but you certainly can! Here's the skinny. With the current block and stock pistons you could probably tune it to pull 350-375 hp @ around 6psi. Get Hardened 8.5:1 pistons and port the heads and you'll be right back where I was last year putting down 455hp @ 12psi. The clutch and drivetrain are good for up to 800hp so if you want to take the engine further and do the full internals cams & crank... really the skys the limit. There are ridiculous 1000+whp vq35 powered cars out there all over you tube. This car makes an exceptionally nice starting point because it is a rare model, the 6-Speed 2 dr coupe with Brembo upgrade, in the last year the Brembo was available from the factory, 2004. Plus, the miles are really low for the year, but not so low you wouldn't want to drive it. Make no mistake, YOU WILL HAVE TO SPEND MONEY ON THIS CAR to get it running right. Make an appointment with your favorite tuner shop and dyno because they are gonna be doing some work. But when you're done you will have a ridiculously fun car as I can attest to that is super comfortable and turns heads at every corner. Besides a running low-mile car, what else do you get for your money?Greddy VQ35DE Twin Turbo Kit with 2 working turbos and all associated plumbing and tubing. Greddy Twin Titanium Exhaust with Greddy External WasteGates & controllersGreddy FV Blow Off ValveGreddy 'stealth mount' front intercoolerSpec II Twin Disc ClutchKoyoRad Aluminum RadiatorGreddy internal Boost controller and Management DisplayRC Engineering 660cc injectors Aeromotive Fuel Pressure RegulatorWalbro Fuel Pump2 sets of staggered 20" Wheels & tires. Chromes are DUB, the wires are MRR. So there you have it. Feel free to shoot me questions but not offers of trade or "what-if's" if it doesn't sell. The minimum starting bid is the lowest price I will sell it for period. Don't waste time asking me. For less than that I can simply pay a shop to put it right and sell it then fully running and likely profit more. I'm only selling it this way to try and save myself hassle. Any other inquiries I'm happy to answer. I have more paperwork on the car plus videos of it on the dyno too. Payment must be certified or wait for checks to clear. I also take bitcoin. Good luck!
