1960 Ford Thunderbird running, driving, and registered project. This is a Running and driving car. Rescued from and older man that just never got to finishing the build. Car had been sitting for 10 plus years in its current condition. Body: Pretty straight body with some minor imperfections however no real body damage and nearly rust free. The trunk and floors seem very solid. Carpet was pulled in a few spots to check it out. Needs paint along with normal restoration requirements. There is surface rust only on the bottom of the hood. Owner was removing paint then left it. Interior: Complete interior including factory seats radio ect. Driver seat is power. Car also has power windows with NO a/c. Will need carpet, seats need recovering, headliner seems good but needing assembly from remove outer emblems, door panels are usable but need some attention, all interior chrome needs to be polished or re chromed/painted, needs door glass replace but new glass is included. The dash pad is in exceptional condition for it's age. Brakes and suspension: Suspension is all stock as well as the brakes. Power drums, rebuilt power steering assist. Brakes are in fair condition with new fluid. Suspension works well but should be rebuilt as the bushings have seen better days, also could use an alignment. Engine and Trans: Engine is a stock 352 V-8 with and auto transmission. I was told the transmission was rebuilt prior to sitting and does work very well. Engine has new starter Solenoid, new points, recent cap rotor, wires, plugs, new push rods, rebuilt stock 4 bl carb, (still needs fine tune), flushed and replaced oil/filter, small exhaust leak at pass manifold, runs well, no excessive smoking or noises. Exhaust: Stock manifolds, dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers (older but still working). Wheels and Tires: Stock rims and hubcaps. Tires have great tread, no weather checking however are over 10 years old. Parts included: Many extra trim parts along with all of the original trim to but back on the car after painting. Please observe the pictures and email is you have questions. I DO NOT have the side skirts. Things to know: This is a running and driving project car. Car will need some restoration to be a show car or enjoy as is. Car will come with clean title current California tags. Needs heater core, interior work, exterior paint work, some assembly and overall restoration. The actual miles are unknown however we should assume at least 1064XX as the odometer exceeds the limit. The chrome on the bumpers and trim are in fair original condition but should be refinished to be a show car. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to own an Awesome american Classic!
