Vehicle Detail
2002 911 Porsche Carrera 2 Cabriolet, NO RESERVE This is what you want for Christmas! Well cared for, stock 911 Carrera convertible. Adult owned and driven. Garage kept. Includes matching Porsche brand hard top, stand and cover. Car runs and drives well, 6 speed shifts smoothly, engine does not smoke or leak. No rattles or unusual noises. Clear title in hand. Car has lived in the south so has no salt corrosion or rust. Has not been modified. My mechanic pulled engine reports early this year that showed no over-rev history and no codes when they did the other work shown on receipts in photos. Pirelli P-Zeros have lifetime balance and rotation, and have only 2k miles on them. I have babied this car and you can tell it's been loved by previous owners:Factory Aero KitFactory wheel upgradeLeather has no cracks or tearsCarpet in very good condition; factory drivers mat is a little worn but still looks niceDash has no cracks or chipsConvertible top and rear glass replaced about 4 years ago professionally, does not leakAftermarket $1,300 DVD/Navigation system installed professionally about a year agoAC cools well, heat works greatHeadlight washersNo leaksNo oil usage between last oil changes (Mobil 1 only)New Pirellis 2k miles ago (all 4)New brakes this past week (Bosch)New oil cooler in Feb of this year (old one had started to leak)New water pump and anti-freeze in Jan of this year (did not leak, just time to do it)New drive belt Jan of this yearIncludes matching factory hard top, worth about $2,000 by itself.Includes $500 full front bra (not factory, but very nice, fits tight and looks good)Includes all interior covers for convertible latch, wrench and plugs for hard top socketsIncludes all factory tools and wheel lockIncludes factory air deflector that fits behind front seatsIncludes repair receiptsIncludes all original manualsWheels have no curb rashConvertible top operates perfectlyFactory spareFactory Bose speakersTrunk struts, front and rear, hold lids up even in cold weatherSunshade mirrors don't flop, lights work (don't see that often)All power functions, latches, and releases work unless noted belowClear bra on front bumperPaint is glossy and original except scratches noted belowStock rear spoiler raises and lowers properly at speed or with switchNo error codes, check engine light, etc.I have seen underside on a rack. It's clean, half shaft boots are intact, bushings look and feel solid. The car seems to be totally stock except for stereo system, shown. Following list includes flaws I have noticed. I'm not a mechanic or a dealer, but am pretty observant and as you can tell by my seller rating will do my best to describe the car accurately:Shifter knob paint is rubbed away around the top, but gear map is clearHood paint has three little-finger sized areas where it has been touched up. Previous owner said this is damage shown on CarFax. Areas are not dented, but beyond what I would call normal rock chips. Driver door window intermittently stays up when you close door, but always works properly if you hold latch.Key has to be turned manually back to ON from start position.Fob remote doesn't work.Car has minor small nicks and rock chips, but no dents or major scratches beyond those noted above. It apparently had a clear bra on it most of its life. My car is sold as-is with no reserve. You are welcome to have it inspected at your cost prior to bidding. It is not a new car, but I looked at a lot of 911s before I bought it, and have not been disappointed. It is driven regularly, so miles may go up slightly. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. I have sold hundreds of thousands of $$$ worth of motorcycles, cars, and computer equipment on eBay with no complaints. If you have questions about the car, please ask before bidding. Glad to talk by phone if you prefer. I'm in Nashville area. Fly in and I'll pick you up, you can drive to Smokies and Tail of the Dragon same day to start your relationship! Please bid only if you are ready to buy. $500 PayPal deposit within 24 hrs of auction ending, balance to be paid in cash and car picked up within 1 week unless arrangements made before auction ends. I will assist with shipping the car at your expense after payment is complete and cleared, but will not ship outside the continental U.S. Car is for sale locally, I reserve the right to sell privately before auction ends. On Nov-19-17 at 19:53:35 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention that this car has working cup holder! This and the vanity mirror covers were broken on most every other 911 I looked at.
